On Saturday 18 April 2026 at 10am the Friends of Rowley Hills will be one of many groups and communities across the UK come to come together for a UK wide Day of Action for Nature, Parks and Green Spaces. The purpose is simple: to demonstrate, collectively, that people everywhere care deeply about nature, parks and green spaces and want to see them protected and restored.
This is a non partisan, community led initiative. Its aim is to show decision makers of all parties that nature matters to the electorate. Will you join us for a guided walk of the hills of Saturday 18th April?
The starting point is the top of Portway Hill adjacent to Lye Cross Road, please wear suitable footwear for a walk over uneven ground.
