Rowley Hills butterfly walk to be published by Butterfly Conservation

A butterfly walk across Portway Hill written by FORH member Mike Poulton has been selected for inclusion in a new book by Butterfly Conservation. It will be one of 25 butterfly walks in the book, to be published in 2016. Butterfly Conservation is the leading UK charity dedicated to saving butterflies, moths and our environment.     Hi Jan, I don’t know the exact route but it covers the Portway Hill area of the Rowley Hills, including the part that is owned by the Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust. We’ll post more information about the walk as we get it – keep checking back.
